Check out our review on the Dutch e-zine Metalfan! The reviewer awarded us 60/100 points. The review is in Dutch, so you all whip out your copy of the Dikke van Dale-dictionary!
Thanks to Erik (no, not that one) for the review!
We got 7/10 points from Goddess Sioux over at Nocturnal Hall. Thanks for the rating!
Check it out over here.
Ah, sweet jesus. It’s nice to receive a review, but 1,5/10 doesn’t fucking cut it. I mean, we suck all right, but this is ridiculous.
Thanks to Robert Buder for frying us, at least there’s gonna be some discussion about it
Check out the review over here. (Oh yeah, it’s in German)
The Spanish guys over at castleofvampiria.com wrote a review about our demo and gave us a 7.5 out of 10!
Thanks to el dios perezoso for his high rating. Unfortunately my Spanish is pretty rotten, so I’m not entirely sure what he writes, but he’s commenting on how he likes the first two tracks best, and that he doesn’t like the production too much. We’ll get someone to translate, but in the meantime, sling out the babelfish, and check out the review over here.
Ah well, again comments on the production. We got 47/100 from Lords of Metal. Thanks to Erik (no, not that one) for the review!
You can read the Dutch review here, or the English review over here.
At X-plosive Metal they wrote a review of our demo. It receives 7/10 points. Upside: Originality. Downside: Production. Check out the review over here.
Thanks to Paul Dorsz for the thorough and professional review!
We’ve got two more Reviews on our Grim & Cold Cult-Demo. The Metal.de Review can be found here here. And the Metal-District.de Review can be read here. Thanks to The.Beaver and Velvet for your TRVE thoughts.
We got 6/10 points on Kronos Mortus, an Hungarian metal review site. The reviewer doesn’t like the production, which translates into the amount of points given. He does however, see a bright future for us if we pick up the pace and use a studio next time. Those were our plans exactly, so he’s bound to give our next one a 10/10!
The review is available over here, in Hungarian as well as in English.
Thanks to Kiadó for the review!
Apparently not everybody seems to think we are a completely shitty band. In their review of Wolves for the Throat – Ravens for the Eyes we got 7/10 from Hateful Metal’s reviewer Aceust.
The review is in German, and can be read over here.
Thanks to Hateful Metal for the review!
The first review of our demo is online!
And man, it’s awesome. First of all: It’s scathing. But, it completely lacks info on style and performance, and it even attacks the fact that we created an edition of 300 pieces. How is an edition bad? It’s not limited or anything! The reviewer immediately assumes that because we offer our demo for free, it must be lacking quality. It then goes on to comment on the production (it being ‘thin’). I, personally, wasn’t aware that Black Metal should conform to any standards in that regard. But hey, who am I?
Let me urge you all to read the review (German).
I want to thank Erik from Myrrthronth for at least admitting we make music, not letting us know his review was online, and evading all actual criticism by means of his hollow review.
Let me finish it off with a heartfelt deathwish to all people who contaminate art and creativity with their German Ordnung way of looking at expression and creativity.
